Police have arrested four people in connection to the death investigation of Philip Seymour Hoffman.
After receiving a tip that there had been heavy drug dealing out of a New York City apartment, police executed search warrants for three units of a Mott Street apartment. During the search police recovered more than 350 bags of heroin.

The hunt for a fugitive ended today after 37 years. Judy Lynn Hayman was arrested for attempted larceny after she attempted to steal clothing from a store in the Detroit area. She was sentenced to a year and a half in jail and was about halfway through her sentence when she escaped from prison.
Fentanyl laced heroin has been the cause of death in more than 50 heroin overdose cases. When it was discovered that Philip Seymour Hoffman had died of a heroin overdose, investigators began to wonder if he could have been the latest victim of fentanyl. Hoffman was found dead in his apartment with several empty glassine envelopes near his body.
