Stray Dogs In Russia & The Rush To Save Them

Thousands of homeless dogs wander the streets of Sochi, begging for food. They live in the mud, and amid abandoned buildings and construction sites, without food or water, in the cold.
With the winter Olympics opening ceremonies to start Friday, Russia is callously killing off its stray dogs in an effort to “clear the streets” of them to avoid bothering Sochi’s new visitors, avoiding the possibility of a wandering hungry dog into an Olympic event.

U.S. Closes Samsung Patent Abuse Investigation

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) today officially closed its investigation into Samsung’s possible abuse of patents. The decision was made following the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) decision to overturn previously awarded bans on Apple products in the U.S.
As part of the ongoing and years-long patent war between Samsung and Apple, Samsung was awarded sale bans on certain iPhone and iPad models in the U.S. The USTR reversed this ban today, citing the fact that the ban was not in the public’s interest.

Farrah Abraham Has Another Porn Movie Coming Out

“Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham has another adult movie coming out, but she’s trying to stop the release of it, says TMZ.
Right now, Abraham and Steve Hirsch, who runs the adult entertainment company Vivid, are having a back and forth about the film being released. Abraham says she regrets doing the first movie and would never consent to doing a second one, which is why Hirsch is using non-used clips from the first film to make a sequel.

Facebook Page Admins Will Now See Who Posted Stuff on Behalf of the Page

Facebook has just announced a change to Pages that will make it clear to admins which other admins posted certain content on the page’s behalf. The changes are set to go into effect on February 20th and will not be retroactive.
“Starting on February 20, the names of admins will show next to their posts and comments. This will be visible to anyone with an admin role on your Page,” says Facebook in a pop-up post at the top of pages.
