Ted Agu: University of California Football Athlete Collapses and Dies at 21

A Cal football player passed away Friday after collapsing during a training drill with his teammates.
Ted Agu, 21, of the University of California Golden Bears, was reportedly having trouble completing the usual morning workout routine at Memorial Stadium.
Medical staff transported him on a cart to the Simpson Center’s medical facility where he then collapsed and was given emergency CPR. Agu was immediately transferred to a local hospital, but was later pronounced dead.

An Iowa police chief found a 6-day-old baby boy Friday who was abducted Thursday morning from his cradle in a Wisconsin home.
Kayden Powell was found 250 miles away from home outside a gas station in West Branch, Iowa.
Forty police officers were dispatched to a 911 call in search of the infant.
FBI agent G.B. Jones reported that the baby’s cries led police officers to the exact location during the search.

Yet Another Early-Universe Galaxy Has Been Spotted

Astronomers this week revealed that yet another galaxy from the very early universe has been spotted.
The galaxy, dubbed Abell2744_Y1, is estimated to have existed just 650 million years after the big bang, which took place 13.8 billion years ago. The object was spotted during a survey of the Abell 2744 galaxy cluster using the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes. The new observations are set to be published in the journal Astronomy and Astrophysics Letters.
